Incipient Software

Incipient software suite includes:

  • Incipient Network Storage Platform software (iNSP) - Storage virtualization and non-disruptive data migration software. iNSP resides within a director-class SAN switch and provides a suite of network based storage services software that can be deployed throughout a SAN environment; these services include non-disruptive data migration, network volume management, storage provisioning and copy. iNSP is patented software technology. It abstracts the SAN data path, eliminating application downtime normally associated with data migrations and device reconfigurations. This enables storage administrators to build SAN storage tiers with zero planned downtime. iNSP supports a wide range of operating systems and storage hardware platforms.
